Cookie policy

Last updated: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

No cookie tracking by default. Some things have to be stored in your browser for Lovedrop to work at all — everything else waits for your yes.

"Cookies" here means cookies and similar storage in your browser, like local storage.

Always on: needed to run the site

These don't need your consent, because Lovedrop can't work without them:

  • Sign-in session — keeps you signed in (Supabase, local storage).
  • Signed-in marker — tells lovedrop.app to open your campaigns instead of the homepage. It says you're signed in and nothing else: no name, no account details (cookie, up to 7 days, gone when you sign out).
  • Language — remembers the language you chose (local storage).
  • Unfinished forms — keeps your progress if you leave a campaign or a contribution halfway (local storage).
  • Layout — remembers whether the side menu is open (cookie, up to 7 days).

Only with your consent

  • Product analytics (PostHog) — helps us understand which parts of Lovedrop work and which don't. Stores a random identifier in a cookie and local storage. No names, emails or message content.
  • Error reports (Sentry) — tells us when something breaks, so we can fix it. Email addresses are removed before a report is sent.

On the payment page

When you pay, you're on our payment provider's page (Payrexx). It may set its own cookies, which are covered by its own privacy policy.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings — you'll then be signed out and asked again.

More about your data

Who we work with and what rights you have is explained in our privacy policy.
